PERMIT APPLICATIONS

Before any work affecting traffic flow can begin, approval from the road authority ie: TfNSW, is required. This is usually issued as a Road Occupancy Licence (ROL) or Letter of Authority, detailing approved times, conditions, and any fees.

Coast Traffic Solutions manages the entire permit application process for you — liaising with councils and road owners to secure the necessary approvals and ensure full compliance with local regulations. We make it simple to obtain the permits you need, keeping your traffic management plan compliant and your project on schedule.

Traffic Guidance Scheme

We take pride in delivering high-quality Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) — designed with precision, flexibility, and safety in mind. Each plan is fully customised to meet your project’s specific needs, whether managing vehicle, pedestrian, or combined traffic movements. Our planners ensure all signage, barriers, and traffic configurations are correctly positioned to maintain safety, efficiency, and full compliance with NSW road and council standards.

We work closely with all local councils and road authorities across the East Coast of NSW, from Sydney to Tweed Heads, ensuring every TGS we produce meets regional requirements and approval processes.

Equipment Hire

Our equipment and signage can be hired short or long term. CTS vehicles are fully equipped to ensure your worksite is setup and managed according to the Traffic Guidance Scheme. Our inventory includes: road signs, cones, portable boom gates, lighting towers, traffic lights and safety barriers.
